As mentioned on my Facebook page, children in my classes loved this project. For a long time we just made the little star children. But one year I wanted to have a little deeper connection to it, and I made up the story of The Star Children.

Your paper does not have to be coloured – at first we used white or manila construction paper. The idea of the circle for the face, was just because some children are not always able to draw a circle that they like. The cut-out circle would just be a ‘save’.  The reason to cut out after it is coloured, is because the colouring is hard to do when there are so many edges. Enjoy yourself with your child(ren)!
