On this blueberry page there can be both horizontal and vertical thoughts (by vertical thoughts I mean the ones relating to the spiritual realms):

The star children do not eat as we do. This points to differences, not just horizontally among people (such as colour of skin, family composition, and activities, to name only a few) but vertically, as in orders of being (other kinds of beings exist and may not be exactly as we are). It also points to other ways we are being given to and helped by Life.
